Ok, I understand; let me know when I can safely re-log. Good luck with your final smile
Re: Advanced Pump (Server Discussion) Posted on 16 May : 12:26
Well I plan to be moving from the area at minimum; much less problematic system planned for next. If it's hogging CPU I may use a farm to gen water sources and set/entomb the lava when I move. Should I ? (and this mean it's now safe ?)
Re: Advanced Pump (Server Discussion) Posted on 16 May : 12:10
there's a warp "lava" to the location if that helps, I guess you'll have already found location from console though . .
Re: Advanced Pump (Server Discussion) Posted on 16 May : 12:06
yup, was hoping not but looks like it's somehing there. Sorry; glad I abandoned things last night then.
I'll not login till I get the ok; I'm guessing it's something to do with lava flow or the pumps; what confuses me is that when this login-crash started I wasn't touching lava, just removing machinery and blocks :/
Re: Advanced Pump (Server Discussion) Posted on 16 May : 00:46
Simply removing blocks but now things "seem" to crash when I log in (I was in the ex-facility). I'll not log back in tonight just in case it is in fact me, don't want to interfere with everyone's night. I'll check back tomorrow, but if someone could let me if it's my location or if not then what's causing it, I'd appreciate it
Thread: Advanced Pump (Server Discussion) Posted on 16 May : 00:30
At the lava facility in the nether I elected to upgrade to the "advanced pump" billed as less glitchy than the IC one by pumping flowing liquid not just source blocks.
Howver it's simply emptied a large cube of lava and then the server crashes when said vertical lava walls are interacted with. It might be worth making it uncraftable, any thoughts ?
Re: UPDATE REQ - Preventing Server Lag - Cheap and simple quarry overflow control (Tutorials and Guides) Posted on 05 Feb : 13:36
Just implemented the "schizmat method" with jacketed redwire and a lamp instead of the redstone tube (so I can see easier).
Also aligned inside one chunk as that's what caused my spill a bit back; only the quarry chunk loaded and rest of tube network didn't so effectively no'where to send items.

This seems genuinely spillproof so thanks ^.^
Will report any issues/nuances
