So here are the rules of Toast Town. I'll edit them as necessary.

Ask SampleName or Chibbard for a plot of land before building.

To get a plot, you'll have to obtain a deed to the land. A deep is simply a sign stating the house has been approved for the player. (I'll be able to check the authenticity of a sign.) This way we know what players are in the town, and have built with permission. Any and all houses built without a deed/consent of SampleName and or Chibbard will be demolished. We've had too many homes being built without permission. (As it clearly states, numerous times, to ask before building.)


No griefing, or stealing.

Don't build non town related things within the radius of Toast Town. (Don't build too close to town.)

The plots are like city blocks. Don't hog it to yourself. They are built to house 2 or 3 people.

When building a house, stay a minimum of two blocks away from the road.

Please be considerate when building your house / basement. Leave room for other's projects as well.

Don't attack other players in town.

No lava or water flooding.

No obnoxious looking buildings. Try to make them look nice.

Be nice to other players / town members.

Where is toast town located at?

It's east or so from Spawn.
There's a road leading to it.
If you get lost, check the carto. There's usually a few people in the town, so if you need help, feel free to ask around!

Follow Valhalla road until you've gone past Zephyr City, Knoparens house and the betting shop outside the coliseum. Its a straight walk along the road from there, but if you get lost there are some signs along the road.

Hey Sample, dubien sold me his bank, I bought it on behalf of toasttown. I figured we could turn it into the storerooms.

Alright sounds good. What other buildings to do we need?
Perhaps some stores?

Perhaps some vendors would be well placed in town, since a large cave network has been discovered under Toast Town. May be befitting to cater to the explorers?

Also I'm the one that built the little fishing pier on the lake, and put the box of signs next to the notice board. Hope you didnt mind.

Oh no, that's perfectly fine. I went ahead and fixed all the currents by and below the dock.
Yeah, some armor and weaponry stores might be helpful. Maybe a store with food, and some basic items. (Coal and whatnot)

I'd be happy to run the store since I've been spending alot of my time in and around Toast Town, so long as I had the support to keep it well stocked. That, and we can come to an agreement on a reasonable currency within the server. Iron Armor doesnt come cheap, and I imagine most players would rather make their own than cough up the dough to pay for that equipment.

i would like a store, and also make a spot for a community mine that is like huge. then goes out into branch mines.

Yeah, I think we should keep the original bank building, i think dubien would prefer it that way, maybe it can be just an official reserve of materials, that the public can use if they need them

Perhaps we could have a few managers, that would be in charge of handing out items and keeping things organized. That way we won't have people taking half of the storage for themselves. We then could keep track of who's taken what, and donated what. (Plus we won't have non residents taking from us)

I'm focusing on the TT Arena at the moment, the store can come later. Besides, we'll need at least a small mob trap to keep the store stocked with things like bows, arrows and TNT (for the more adventerous adventurer). Even if its a small one.

While we're on the subject, I'm finished marking out the arena's space, but now I need to know what do you want it made from? Wood, stone, brick, sandstone? Lightstone? Take your pick.

I haven't been on that much recently, might make it on tomorrow. Anyway, how are things coming along? Did we build anything major?

Saw what you've done so far with the shop Zoid. I have plenty of mob drops right now. (Thanks to Blinky and his wonderful mob spawner bath!)
Are we still going with the original spot for the arena? I'd say wood, smooth stone, and glass would be best so it matches with the town. Just as long as it looks nice.

Chibb, other than that, we haven't done much else.

By the way, I saw someone started installing a subway station by the path, good idea.

I put up that structure for the store in about an hour out of boredom. Not sure it's the layout I'll stick with 'cus it feels a little too small, especially when we need a reasonably sized stock room. To save the work being a total waste I may just build the staircase downwards instead and have the stock room underground. That about covers it I think... Other than fathoming what the full stock/price list will be.

Update on my status since I've been out the server for awhile. The TT Store is pretty much finished, it just needs stocking as I've said already. As for the Arena I'm stumped for ideas as to how to set up the bleechers and preperation rooms. If anyone wants to take over with the arenas construction feel free as I'm not likely going to be on for awhile. As for the store, anyone wishing to donate things to fill the stock room feel free to leave a chest or twelve outside my home or in the Red Room of the store itself.
