Hey, i cannot connect, i keep getting this error as soon as i connect and then it get dc me frown

Java.io.IoException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

I tried updating java, restarting PC and router, even did a spam sweep :/ Any ideas? Once out of 20 times i get to stay for 30 ecs lol

Im glad im not imagining it, but not good either haha! Yeah its the first time its happened to me. I have already juggled my inv around so who knows, but il keep that in mind ^_^

I was in a cave mining, but didnt have the pick in my hand, it wasnt even in the hotbar which is even more strange haha

Just want to post here that on 2 seperate occastions that ive had items vanish from my inv when i return to the server. Today i hadm my diamond pick axe vanish and its the only one i had, to make it worst it was the mother of pickaxes with the enchantments i had. Has any one else had this? I just logged off as normal and then returned 10mins later and it was gone ::(

Broonie is there anychance i could 3 diamonds to replace it?? lol its a long shot but im struggling here suprised lol

Can we reset but keep items we want in the inv to carry over please? Also what is ontained in our backpacks, that way we can atleest keep some of our build?

Just want to ask, is the FTBM server up and running properly? I cannot seem to hit, place, die, burn etc etc lol

Well i guess the idea it didnt work :/ Im going to say 99% of the problem is the ages, i think a weekly wipe would help?

Broonie is working his ass off to try and fix that.

Just remember that he's got the vanilla server running sweet as a nut, which only has a CFUK mod and perhaps a few server mods to deal with. With FTBu and other similar mod packs, there are LOADS of mods to deal with.

The mods in other packs will probably work perfectly fine in the "ideal" server - but I bet you that's an offline / hidden one. Broonie has to scan through the code of EVERY mod, trying to remember it all to figure out what is conflicting with what. That's not an easy job at all!

Broonie, like a lot of us, also has a job and a life ... so don't criticise him for not being there to fix stuff as it breaks.

I understand he is a busy guy. I'm not slanting him and no need to be defensive. I just think he could share the responsibility with other mods etc to take the load of him. Not having a server running for 5 hours is wasting more of his effort. Im not knocking him, just think he needs to appoint a partner to help with things thats all.

This is really annoying now. Don't get me wrong, but Broonie bud, you need to either make yourself availible on time of restart incase the server does not restart to do it manually or clear the ages (if thats the cause)

Please don't think im rude cos im not, its just not a good server support. Can't you give the access to another mod or admin to restart the server?

Keep the ages, and wipe them clean once a week. 1 Full week is more than enough for someone to venture and gather resources, pages or whatever. But don't ban completely, its taking a good part of FTB away if you did ban the mod.
