Obiously im hitting unlimmited

I'm also for unlimited. For me the point of Minecraft is building and it seems profoundly weird to expect people to have their base in a small area where you can't do very much. I think spawn should be for ambitious builds, not piddly little houses that are going to be abandoned very quickly when the owners run out of space.

I chose 25x25 for spawn as if you were to give unlimited build sized plots in / around spawn, it would become very akward to navigate. If they are kept relatively small, it keeps things more organised (and easier to patrol, looking for griefs).

You don't have to have your "Base" in spawn, just a place while you're there. If you want a big build - find an unclaimed space and then go nuts

A spawn should never have "unlimited" build space for any single user, as it's a spawn.. A place where new people arrive. Having it turn into an area filled with massive builds, can and will turn people away from wanting to stay and build on the server simply because they wouldn't be able to find a place to do so.

Think of it as a "welcome to CF|UK" area, where people feel welcome and can get their start on the server (and minecraft in general).


Edit: 25x25 - 30x30 max in my opinion.

I agree with 25x25 max. the sky scrapers are around this size so why not just keep it that way?
Also on a quick side note.... Flight.. i have to ask. What is your avatar from? i've seen it somewhere else but i can't remember where.

Edit: I realised some of the sky scrapers are actually oddly shaped so 25x35 or 30x40. I still think 25x25 is a good size for a spawn home.
