While exploring around the new map i found the perfect place for New Ethipia. i started development on it and while brainstorming i came up with this idea

Guilds will basically be mini-clans. Each represents a segment, or skill, of vanilla minecraft. But what are the advantages you ask? Well...

ADVANTAGES!!
1. Each guild has a special skill in vanilla minecraft you have to have this skill to join a guild. and for having that skill you are rewarded. For one say your in the redstone guild buying and selling items regarded in the redstone catagory (repeaters ,redstone dust etc) same for a lumberjack guild (wood, wooden planks) or a farmers guild (wheat, seeds ,)

2.Unlike clans, guilds have no true leader. Everybody in the guild is equal. this is useful for those that do'nt like being bossed around

3. Access to land owned by that guild. guilds can buy land off me or droid225. for there own land for what ever reason. this can be used to build A guild home or mess around with redstone etc. ( i was thinking a 40 x 40 space for 100 gold maybe?)

only joking anyway I dont realy see the points of these clans on a survial server. I mean cfuk is not a pvp server at heart and this clan bussiness sounds to confusing. Also why should I pay 100 gold for this land? Whats so special about it?

Oh same. Just another money making scheme which involves large ammounts of land :/ which the server doesn't really have masses of right now anyway.

Your guild in order to own any land of the server will have to purchase it off of the CF | UK, currently land is rented free, but for you [or your guild] to own the land, you will need to purchase it.

Land, according to strict marketplace exchange rates, and CF | UK gold ingot value across the world, a 1 x 1 x 256 block is priced 1,000 gold per 1 x 1 x 1 block, in order to purchase land off the CF | UK, you now are in debt to CF | UK council of 256,000 gold per block, charged a 1.5% interest daily from 28/03/2012.

Administrative costs are also charged at 50 gold per 1 x 1 x 1 section of land per week.

Compensation costs of lost land must be paid at 15 gold per block to each active user on the server.

CF | UK reserves the right to terminate rented land to the tennant, and claim back land at any point, whether through re-decoration with natural resoruces or max demolition using TNT.

Sounds fair, right?
