Have you seen the proof of concept for the minecraft film? 20 mins or so of getting to know the mojangers. you can get a bit of a feeling for how notch has been thrust into all this and i respect how they remain an independant outfit. sure, things could be better handled. that is always true for most things in life. I for one dont mind about the downtime. its probably not healthy to play every day.

I wouldn't like to speculate on how difficult it is for a handful of people to do everything they need to server wise, and finish the game, and meet their PR needs at GDC. Their login servers are constantly being updated/tweaked and 'not enough connection' errors are unavoidable. Especially given how many new users each day. I find it remarkable how they are up as much as they are at this point.
