Soul's idea could work, considering the chats can be linked just like vanilla is linked with FTB to still have the community be able to chat as a whole. But yea, it would make one world less populated than the other and could be somewhat boring depending on the non-donator / donator ratio.. And would of course limit the actual physical interaction of players in-game.

All this feels like Mojang has gotten a little too big for it's own good, to be honest. This is pretty much a kick in the balls for all the server owners out there who have spent a lot of time and money to run a server, and promoted Minecraft for all these years. It's their creation and they have the right to dictate what happens to it, but without the community's support they are nothing. Without people like Broonie to run servers, and the donators who contribute to the costs of just that, they are nothing. In my opinion, Minecraft is in the hands of the community that supports it and helped fund and build it into what it is today and should remain free of corporate dictatorship. The way a server is run should be in the hands of the ones that are part of it, not the ones who collect a paycheck thanks to it. I might not play Minecraft anymore but I'll always be part of CFUK, and I don't think anything should change. This server is what it is thanks to the people that run it and contribute to it on a daily basis (and I'm proud to speak from experience when I say this is done with great dedication, no matter how difficult it may be at times), Mojang can't do anything to change that.

This matter has been discussed before in the past, where it was voted against by the majority of the server staff for the reasons mentioned by Freddyfrog: http://www.crazy-fools.co.uk/p/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?23456.0 Don't really have much to say about the matter, seeing as I haven't been part of the "active roster" for a loooong time, just remembered that this conversation has been had before and figured I'd pop in and link it

It would be spam if it was a chat window full of the same gibberish, completely "drowning out" other people's words.. That said, we'll keep an eye on him. PS: We will decide on punishments through our own judgement, not that of others.
