edit: ignore - working now, might have been a temp problem..

DW20 server is down.. "Failed to receive challenge."
Think it might have crashed after restart possibly, because piggs and I were on last night and everything seemed fine.. not sure if anyone joined afterwards

Thought I might pop in and say a few as well.. Mix of going on vacation and going through a rough patch kept me away from playing..
It sure was a summer to remember, cake spawning devil fire slowly eating the whole world will be forever etched in my mind lol
I might drop by from time to time, depends how things go..
Hope I'll catch u all again at one point smile
Also same as squippit said, if anyone needs me, don't be shy to drop a line!

direwolf20 server restarted and didn't come back online.. restart msg said it would come online around 23:55, but it's still down..

photo of the caketastrophe that caused a reroll - lesson is, no matter how appealing a world full of perpetual cakes is, do not use thaumcraft elemental fires. Ppl don't enjoy floor cakes. Well some of them do.. but they certainly don't enjoy their floors being turned into cakes..

I was getting random disconnects/crashes too..
what ever we do from now on, we have to add opis or similar tools to fight the source of lag.. so that what Chista said doesn't happen again.. otherwise we would have a perpetual pattern that will stop us from playing frown
having either rerolls or resets etc doesn't fix the problem, it's a temporary solution that fails in the long run

Good news!

Nand and I have made a discovery. The lag almost completely goes away so long as there is at least one person in the nether!

Makes zero sense! Kind of inconvenient for that one person! But it's better than nothing!

I found this out yesterday too, I was the only one on the server atm and wile in nether, I had 0 lag, totally gone.. but when I came back to overworld it came back too..

maybe, just maybe, if no one is in nether it starts loading all those wither skelly chunks (for ones that don't know there was odd and uncontrollable spawning of 1000s of wither skeletons in some chunks..), but if 1 person goes in, it starts loading only the current chunk? just an assumption..

btw I checked mine last time and it seemed fine and wither free..
