FTB monster overworld Quarrying

It should be banned sans ender quarry in overworld period. If you can afford a quarry you can afford couple pieces of ink and paper to make an age. Stuff like quarry hole 100 blocks from spawn is really nasty for the players and the server.

Damn - I have no idea how far I am from spawn ATM, but I bet I'm within that range ... there goes the plan to quarry out under my base and build down into it

Would it be possible for admin to create an age purely for the purpose of quarrying and have a portal at spawn to the age, I have seen this done by some youtubers. just an idea as it would also stop the need for to many random ages being created.

I can create ages no problem. If a player would like an age for a quarry world then i can attempt to make a stable one for them. I'll take this upon myself to save players from OW quarry holes.
If you would like to request an age world please PM me your IGN and when you're most likely online. All i require are some ink (black tree dye etc) and some leather as compensation for supplies.
Unfortunately due to the instability of ages i will only create standard OW type worlds, if you wish to have something else you'll have to tinker.
To also remind players. Please please please make a portal book to return to overworld. I dont want to have to come save your ass
@Soul:- it's mainly a rough guideline due to players having complained about falling into holes etc. small quarries should be ok but anything 64x64 and above should be done away from proximity to spawn or in a personal age world.
As for quarrying out under your base go for it. I'm mainly talking about quarries that extend outwith the proximity of your above ground building. Anyone dumb enough to tresspass into your base and fall in your quarry kinda deserves the plunge to the depths lol.
Apart from the proximity to spawn there is only 1 exception to large quarrying. If you turn a massive quarry hole into your base and actually USE it, then yes that's acceptable. I know this is a grey area and hard to keep safe for players but if we can at least keep it away from spawn then it will be fine.

I currently have a small quarry in the ocean, but if you would make me a book till I can set up my own mystcorner (in progress, along with bees and mystcraft and flattening the area for my build and ETC.)
On as soon as the minecraft servers are back online xD
