[poll] Project Name - VOTE
, Sun Jan 02 2011, 05:46PMHey folks, here's the poll to decide what we're naming the project. Please note that whatever we name the island will also probably be the theme we employ in it's construction. So for example if we choose Niflheim the island will be icy (we'll need Broonie's help with that), Muspelheim will be fiery, etc. If you would also like to name the land underneath the island, please reply to this thread indicating as such with your suggestion.

A theme I would personally like to do for the island is to build the top up like Niflheim with snow and ice everywhere exposed, then build the bottom like Muspelheim, with rivers and lakes of lava and fire everywhere, maybe something of a windy road too.
Whatever the community votes on, though, is what we will build.

lol. It'd probably be more of an ordinary theme. General minecraft construction and such. No snow, ice, lava, or specific architectures.

But alas, the community has voted; and, by a landslide it seems, BAFI (Big Ass Floaty Island) is winning. However, people do seem to like the fire and ice idea, so we'll go ahead with it.
BTW folks, please please please, tell me what jobs you would like to take. I now need folks to build the fortress itself (what's up there right now is a city wall). I also need folks to collect materials for and build the firey depths beneath the island (hereafter codenamed Muspelheim); preferably before mobs are turned back on so I don't have people bitching about dangerous work conditions.

Yes, but wouldn't we need a TON of lava? (Explain what it looks like to me. In my mind, I see a huge lava lake with burning stuff around it, and lava falls. Much like the Nethers.)
