oh aye! Says a lot about both really, how you can feel so fantastic and on top of the world while your happy and really rubbish when your depressed.

Its interesting how emotions and feelings affect our bodies so much.

Yeah one biggest thing about depression is that your immune system and circulatory system follows suit. If you feel happy your whole metabolism picks up and works. But if you're depressed you start getting all sorts of issues like headaches, catching colds easy, stomach bugs, digestive upsets etc etc.
It's all linked. "Mind over Matter" in this case is actually very true.

Interesting article, but I thought it was an actual heat-map of the body until I read "The study asked 773 participants to color bodily regions where they felt activity increasing or decreasing while viewing stimulus..." ... Though this also left me with a disturbing image of people painting their own bodies different colours rather than a chart tongue

So it's more of a "How you feel" than a "What actually goes on in the body" ... but it's still interesting that out of all the people they studied, that in total they came up with distinctive patterns for different emotions. I'll have to show the Mrs this one (she did a Psychology Degree ... probably why I never know why I'm always on her side lol)
