How did you come up with your screen name?

To start if all off - Here's how mine came about...
Many years ago, I needed to create a screen name for a popular music downloads website, but hit a mental block. So I did the old pick a random page in a theaurus ... First word I liked on the first page was "Soul", and then after another random flick through, the only other word I found that went with "Soul" was "Link".
Therefore I was "Soullink". I later used this name on varoius car club websites (my hobby), but everyone in posts or at meets just called me "Soul" - So I stuck with that
What's everyone else's story?

This particular name I came up with on a trial account in WoW. I couldn't come up with one so I jammed in a bunch of random letters. Somehow the random bunch of letters looked like "Dubien", so I choose that name since I liked it. So therefore, I used it for minecraft.

Draze has been my nickname for quite a long while, i think since around 2005 when i used to play Second Life. It was just like your dub, a random thought and it stuck
now even Tech and Ariana call me draze since i seem to prefer that over my real name.

I'm a huge Pokemon fan. My favorite one is Heracross. My irl name is Allen. Heracross + Allen = Heralen.
A week later I completely regretted my choice of name, but it was too late.

My minecraft name is just my real name, the reason for this was 2 fold
a.) I didn't think for a second when I set up my minecraft account back in beta 1.2 that the account name would be my screen name.
b.) I hadn't played computer games for years before minecraft, and really didn't have anything to use.
I sometimes use a couple of names when playing other games these days, Zethina is just a made up name, I also sometimes use Halfrek (a character from Buffy the Vampire slayer).
Cars are also my hobby(I love my Mazda MX5), but just use my real name on the MX5 forums i'm on.

Well Qotsa_101 is fairly obvious. Kinda regret the name though... But on the otherhand there is T3H_Q (Tethys) which is my correct and propper online name i suppose. Albeit Tethys came before Qotsa did name wise, but since everyone called me Q i thought id mash the 2 together abit in some demented way and ended up with T3H_Q.
There is a story behind the tethys name but i kinda cba going into it because its long winded and kinda nerdy so i'll just leave this rambling where it is.

Mine's short for Boris the Engineer, which I came up with in about 1989 I think and it was because two of my friends had their own "handles" or nicknames.

The-ak-man was my original name (named after my old roblox character, don't worry i don't play it anymore) I then learnt people on CFUK were calling me theak (fea-ck) I liked the name and decided to make it my alias

Was part of a clan (Only time I've ever been part of one of those) and they said I should have something made up.

I find the name Benny funny for some reason. It's not my name. Fingers I added because it sort of sounded like a gangster name, like in Goodfellas or something. But also I like it if you say it all fast at once, bennyfingers, a bit like beetlejuice. I think ultimately I just like the sounds of the words together.
