It's starting to feel like that everything can be automatically farmed nowadays...

Very clever design, Its better then mine Lol, but the only problem is that It seems it can only be successful in creative, with the whole spawn eggs and such. It would cool if you found out a way to use spawners into your design. well done tho cheesey

(not mine) i dont think it would be that hard to integrate spawners into that design.

yay for inflating record prices!

Some people have waaaay to much time on their hands.....

that build is not "way too much time on their hands" material.
it is a simple mobgrinder made for the specific purpose of aquiring records using some redstone and a minecart. one could probaby build this in less than 2 hours, or if your name is blinky, less than 5 minutes.

I assume it's just an issue with moving the mobs into their containment slots(I think, not sure if i missed something), so i'm betting it is possible, Droid.

The one I used(wasn't mine) worked, but this just looks like a breeze to use.

There's already a few record factory designs floating around the map. I know of two of them - one slightly more effective than the other. But yes indeed, it is highly possible to make semi-automatic record factories with spawners.

What i mean is that people would have had to plan and design the idea, then do research into mob behaviour, and none of that could have been done simply, ot would have been a case of trial and error until the fully refined version was finished.
