[poll] Shop idea, please comment on idea
, Sat Nov 12 2011, 10:22PMI was thinkin recently that theres one shop that no one has built and i would like to open soon, how do you guys like the idea of a shop in which people place orders for houses and i build them, there would be a choice of small, medium, large, natural, innovative and finally an idea sent in, please comment on what you think of this idea!

its an interesting idea.
but you may find that people prefer to build their own houses rather than just buy a pre made one.
I do like the idea of this though so i say go for it!
WOuld you be planning on building them to make a small town near to spawn or something?
or just in and around the spawn area?

I hadnt really decided, the main idea came when i thought new people would rather explore CFUK than build a house, building a little town would be good as well qotsa thanks!

If im honest, not my cup of tea. I agree with qo in the fact that people may prefer to build thier own homes. However I play the game to make creative builds so my opinion on this is fairly biased.

you also never know that new memebers might be more of a builder than an explorer and sort of takes out the fun of crafting/ building, but a good unique idea anyway!

You could go ahead and try it. If a player wants to join and build a house themselves, then they will. There's nothing stopping them from doing that.

It takes the fun out of building homes, also people like to make their homes stand out, rather than have have copies of their home all of the map...
Though, what you could do is you could run a redstone consulting/teaching business perhaps.. There is a lot of demand for redstone help.

Thats a good idea person thanks there only one problem, i am like a fish trying to walk on land with redstone, if this idea dont work out then person you can be my business partner.
PS i dont mind all the negative comments, if wish to voice your opinion, no matter how harsh i still want them!

there are also many ideas for shops that arent on the matket yet, so maybe have a think about that if you wnat

I think you ALL know me as the guy with the 'small' (LOL Yeah right!) Houses. I take weeks building mine and in the end, they're known all over the server. I like to create depending on my mood. If im annoyed, i'll do something that takes my anger out. Like make a room of lava, or fire, if im calm, make a stream through my arden and so on. I have a bad habit of making houses way too big. for example, on the oldserver it was like 100 x 80 and yent to y=289 or watever the highest is. not been on in a while. But, like i said, 'I' build huge houses. Ask Kahr, Nand, Squippit, Loaded42, Nutter, QOTSA_101. I just enjoy it.
But, in al honestly, the worst that can happen is no-one uses it. Better to try and fail than not try and possibly succeed m8

Ive decided that im gonna target new people and people that like explorin rather than buildin, had 1 customer minecraft339 made him very happy. If this fails then steve are you good at redstone i mean like can do combination locks and complicated things with it!

The best person to ask about redstone is Blinky mate. Im just good with plans and different houses. I make different size'd (Aslong as they're big) But im happy to help you build and so on m8
