My names Chris but you probably know me as cmg5217. I'm 21 and fresh out of college for physical therapists assistant. I play all types of games but my favorite is RPG's. In minecraft you'll find me digging giant pits or building excessively large structures like the Pyramid of Light.

Hi, I'm Stewart, aka Diablothe2nd and about begin the last year of my twenties *cries*
I've been playing Minecraft since November 2010 and stumbled across CFUK while frantically searching for a UK based, or at least mostly UK populated server.
I haven't played for any length of time on other servers due to them either being non SMP or simply glitchy, laggy and griefed. I do have one claim to fame in that I managed to get onto the Deadmau5 server which was truly epic, however didn't get to see the big man himself.
In single player and playing my home hosted SMP with my fiance I've not really built a truly HUGE project, but I've built a castle in the shape of a creeper and my longest run in one direction while disarmed without getting killed on hard setting was 16,000 blocks in one direction.
I've now been playing on the CFUK server for almost a month. In that time i'd like to think i've gotten to know the regulars and didn't plan on joining a village as i didn't know how long i'd be there for. then i was invited to Rdeedfrey's former MegaCity and settled in a treat, helping him furnish a house he made and building my own. we then dug a 44x44 area right down to bedrock with the plan to build a to scale (well, almost at 94%) copy of the London Gherkin. Sadly it was never finished due to a problem involving a map restart.
After just two weeks of playing I was impressed with the server that much that I donated. and then donated again to help Broonie upgrade the server to what we should (hopfully) get settled on in the next few hours.
My plans on the CFUK map as it stands is to take it steady for now, building a small hamlet in an area I call Bay Hills a thousand blocks away from the spawn. then if the server stays steady move on to bigger things that will give the community something to be proud of

i got into minecraft in december and i like the freedom in the game and community. before i played cod mw2 mp, but the community was to tense so i quit.
ok that's all i think oh i almost forgot, i'm a very big fan of cycling… as i done triathlon.

Hello, I'm Mario, but you can call me Shin, I like games and puzzles and even though I'll eventually quit on something that gives me a bit of grief I always keep thinking about how to fix it in the back of my mind eventually culminating in me having a dream in the middle of the night about the problem being solved, waking up and doing what I did in my dream.
I like chemistry and biology but I'm currently in college working on a chemical lab technician certificate, but eventually plan to get a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. I'm low on cash so I rarely buy games the day they're released and haven't bought a new-gen game system apart from the DSi (and will trade up to 3DS when it's released).
As far as the CF|UK server goes I found it when I got bored of single player and was looking for an SMP experience and the server had a great community so here I stay. My builds on the server will mainly revolve around rl games being ported to a manageable mc scenario. I don't like PvP much but I plan on making PvP based games at some point after I find a good plot of land and come up with good scenarios about how to play them.

Charlotte, 23, partner of Steven, full time mother to our beautiful 2 year old boy. Worked as a veterinary nurse for three years. Lives in England.
Always played strategy type games, warcraft, starcraft, aoe, etc. Moved onto FPS, half life, counter strike etc, then onto WoW, that's too expensive and I don't have the time so heard about minecraft through Steven's older brother.

As said above, Charmaberry is my partner and we have a son together - so I play Minecraft as and when I can really. It was reccomended to us by my brother, and i've really enjoyed it's sense of freedom and the way in my mind and it gives me an excuse to bring out the "LEGO side" of my brain again (after it had been hiding for many a year)
Have been on the CF:UK server since late November 2010. I generally like to make castles, and other little things - I generally don't have the time / patience to build truly epic things, and so go one step at a time. My/our current project is a castle / medievalish village kinda thing, but we've only got to the castles so far! Still, i'm usually wiling to help if there seems to be a server project etc going about and i'm not right in the middle of something!

I'm Broonie, server administrator of the server, and I originally set up CF | UK when Minecraft SMP came out.
I'm 18, 19 next month, and currently in College into second year of HND Computing, technical support in network management, aswell as a CCNA student, I also am a MCP for XP and Server 2003.
Always had a huge interest in servers and networking technologies, so originally set up CF | UK as a project on the old works server on a Win 2003 OS.
Unforeseen circumstances drew that to a close, and then I moved over to CentOS Linux - which was a whole new expierience - to host what gives you CF | UK today which I now see as a great community which I'm proud to be a part of.
Nothing better than typing 'list' in the console, and seeing a good number of players on having a good time.
Within the game is something I want to be more active on, however with my other activities, aswell as keeping the server itself in check, is a highest priority of mine of the whole community. So everyone can log on and have a good time

I'm Ryan and pretty new to the server still, i started playing the game ermm back... i cant remember when but it was whilst we were still on the temp map. I like to think ive contributed a bit once i got over the whole building houses thing and realised projects and other buildings are much more rewarding and enjoyable. I proudly came up with the coliseum and with the help of chip, zoid and akaia built it
Im currently working on an absolutely massive project called TSK, which i will not be revealing until it has the infrastructure well under way. It is scheduled to have basic infrastructure and most of its building work done by the end of march and will probably take longer to fully finish. I aim to use it to beat any other minecraft project ever made and hope i reach this goal

I'm Kahr. I'm from Norway and I've been playing Minecraft for about a month now, and I absolutely love both the game and the multiplayer madness that is SMP. I stumbled upon CF|UK by mere chance, and I've been stuck ever since (was a few weeks ago). This server is just full of helpful and kind people, and in the end all it does is make me want to be as helpful and kind as everyone has been to me. I adore this server, and as long as I'm not doing anything wrong and get thrown out, I'm here to stay!

Hello, my name is Stuart and I am kapitain in minecraft. I am 23 and just finished uni. I am one of the masses who heard about CF!UK through minecraft mondays and thought the server sounds ideal. I think the fact that every bit of material has to be mined and crafted makes this server ever more impressive! I hope to get building as soon as I can.

Since I've been around for a while now, and I think it seems like I'm here to stay (read: stick with you quite like an annoying bubblegum in the bottom of your shoe, which won't get off), I decided to make my first forum post. What would be a better place than an introductory thread? : )
So, here in the Internets, I'm known as MZL, in rather various places. Unfortunately, for registrational purposes, I had to add "The" in front of my nick. It's completely okay to call me just MZL.
I started my lurking around the dark and murky caves of the Internets back in 1995, mostly first on IRC, and then afterwards elsewhere too.
My first computer, back in 198? (can't remember) was a Datapoint 2200. It was amazing, back then. It's also amazing nowadays, but for so many different reasons than back then. ; )
I bought Minecraft some time early 2011. First I played a while alone, and then we found a multiplayer server with a couple of chaps from my IRC channel. Being run in zero-budget, the server unfortunately went and borked itself, and that is the actual reason I'm here to annoy you guys. So, blame them, not me. ; )
Anyhoo, if someone still is reading after all this tl;dr text wall, here's the address to my domain, if you want to go and take a peek: http://mzl.fi/
Feel free to ask me about anything ingame, or on the forums. The thing is, though, that I'm not that much of a forumgoer, so, you'd be faster off to catch me ingame. ; )

Im a proud Yorkshireman, and an owner of a 3 legged cat. Im 17 ind currently studying for my A-Levels, hoping to go to Uni next year to study Computer Forensics .
Im a big fan of reto gaming, love gaming, reading, badminton and anything creative, and have recently decided to try my hand at writing, and so far, so good.
On a Slightly off note, I despise my username, but it was a gift, and a wasnt gonna turn down a free account
