This was to fix an exploit in which an in-game attacker would be able to take control (or destroy) the server database via an injection.
The plugin has been patched, and the server is now back online.

Attack Type: MySQL Injection
Attack Method: Input strings from signs [lines 1 to 4] were not converted to a MySQL safe format when converted, making it possible to execute queries on the database. For example, you could finish the current query with '`;' then carry out a separate query.
