Ok so as long as there is enough people around tonight then I am planning on running an event. I have put in approx 40-50 hours in constructing the "arena" for it, and all the surrounding features.
I call it: Puzzle Rooms VS
BIG PRIZES available and FREE ENTRY, see below:
The objective is to get through all 3 puzzle rooms and then race to the finish line. You will need to use your knowledge of minecraft crafting and potions in order to solve the rooms and win.
Everything you need will be provided in the game, and entry is free.
Rules:

You are allowed to:
- Collect and place the following blocks: Sand, Cobble, Oak Wood, Leaves, Ladders.
- Craft items/blocks from materials provided in chests.
- There is a potion table and crafting bench provided in the first room, you will need them.
- You can place specific items when a sign instructs you.

You may not:
- Place Crafting Benches or Potion Stands.
- Break Glass.
- Place any blocks other than those specified above.

If you die then you lose the round.
I will need approximately 8 people at the minimum in order to run this and it will work in a knockout tournament system. Its player vs player but with skill and knowledge instead of weapons and armor.
There is a spectator area and there is a betting system running, so any who are not able to / or who dont want to take part for any reason can still try and make some diamonds.
Try be on from around 7pm BST in order to take part and so I can get signups organised (this can be done in game, or leave your name below) estimated start time will be approx 7.30pm-8.00pm and I expect the whole event to last about 2 hours. With 7 matches to watch if we get at least 8 people.

64 Gold
64 Emeralds
3 Emarald Ore
And also big prizes for the runners up and semi-finalists.

Yeah that was really fun para. Good puzzle design and the lava actually did give it another level of "why the hell did i just do that.... idiot! *burns to death*"
i was one of the testers for this event and i too think its awsome, a few more rooms would be great paragers pls lol
