In following with Toddy's suggestion, I'm putting up for vote what exactly we're building on this island, since there doesn't seem to be a consensus on the matter. Vote Here on the suggestions I've come across already, or reply to this thread with options you'd like to see if I missed any.

I'm kinda eager to get started as well. Planning is good, but not too much planning. Vote now! I'll be taking this poll down tomorrow.

Planning is good, but getting over the first and perhaps the least complez part of a project is choosing what the damned thing is

Just a note here... For some strange reason the poll is asking me to vote each time I log in... but I can't see the results otherwise. Before I vote again, I'll ask Broonie about it. However, for the record, I have apparently voted for the Continent twice. So the current official count is whatever the continent vote is, minus 1.

Just cast my vote for the continent. This is going to be awesome. We should make it look a little futuristic.

I'm gonna take the poll down in about 3 hours so get it while it's hot. I took a peak at the results just now (voted fortress to balance the earlier mishap). Unless someone says otherwise in this thread, I think the first thing we'll build on the island will be the fortress.

I'm now taking nominations for a person, or a team of people willing to come together on the server, to plan the layout and architecture of the fortress.

K folks, I'm closing the poll. The official count is 9 for the continent project, 4 for the fortress.

Since the Fortress had the majority alternative vote, it will be the first thing we build on our project. I'll start an appropriate thread to discuss the specifics behind the fortress.
